Founder & Owner - Piano Teacher
With over 50 years of experience, Col Woodward is a beloved Northern Beaches musician, piano teacher, and entertainer. Born into the renowned musical family band "The Family Woodward", music has been Col's lifelong journey. He has been teaching group & private piano lessons in his own school Col's Music House, and entertaining professionally for over 40 years.

Col has been performing professionally—both as a solo artist and in bands—and sharing his passion through teaching. He’s written, recorded, and performed original music, but his heart lies in helping others discover the joy of playing piano. He believes the Piano is the world’s most beautiful Instrument.

Col is the founder of Col’s Music House, where his motto is simple:
“Learn to play the fun way.”
His mission is to make piano lessons fun, engaging, and tailored to each student's individual needs. Whether you're a complete beginner or returning to music after years away, Col designs personalised programs to suit every ability and interest.

Col has taught thousands of students across the Northern Beaches and continues to teach in four local schools, a commitment he’s kept for over 30 years.

Annie Hunt
Piano Teacher
Annie is a passionate and dedicated piano teacher—and Col’s great-niece. Her journey with music began right here at Col’s Music House, where she started piano lessons with Col at the age of 5. She completed the full piano teaching program under his guidance, giving her a deep understanding of the unique, joyful approach that defines Col’s Music House.

Annie knows firsthand just how much fun and confidence children can gain through music. Her teaching style is gentle, patient, and engaging, and she has a special gift for connecting with her students. Whether it’s a child’s very first lesson or they’re preparing for more advanced pieces, Annie is committed to helping each student thrive.

Her students love her positive energy, encouraging attitude, and the way she makes learning piano fun and rewarding.

In addition to piano, Annie also plays the violin, guitar, ukulele, and sings—bringing a well-rounded musical perspective into her teaching.
